Careers

We grow with curious engineers.

In systems, electronics, embedded software, mechanics and software, we want to build with people who look for the good question before the good answer.

Why Masal Labs?

Promise less, show more. Inside the team, too.

We are a small team. That means everyone's work is visible, and decisions are made without detours.

Meaningful problems

We work on real products that will run in the field. When the work is done, we know what changed, and for whom.

Time for craft

We plan up front for the time good work takes. Design reviews, testing and documentation are part of the job.

A team that learns

At the end of every project, we write down what we learned. Knowledge stays with the team, not with one person.

Working across disciplines

Electronics engineers understand software, and software engineers understand mechanics. We make decisions together with people from other disciplines.

Who we are looking for

Six disciplines, the same curiosity.

We announce open positions separately. Even when there is no posting, we read applications in these fields.

Systems engineering

Engineers who enjoy writing requirements, drawing architectures and keeping track of decisions.

Electronics design

Engineers who care for the whole board, from schematic to layout and from bring-up to EMC testing.

Embedded software

Engineers who like working close to the hardware, on microcontrollers, embedded Linux or FPGAs.

Mechanical design

Design engineers who think about the enclosure, the heat and the manufacturing method together.

Software development

Developers who write maintainable software for web, mobile and cloud that talks to devices.

AI and data

Specialists who put the problem at the centre, not the model; who measure with data and explain results plainly.

Hiring process

Five steps, an open timeline.

We tell you in advance what happens at the end of each step.
